March 2008
-- Inspection of Producers in Togo
CertSystems International completed the inspection of GiFFT's first producer client in Togo, Africa. Four qualified indigenous professionals were also trained as GiFFT Community Development Specialists. More information on these developments will be forthcoming.

April 2008
-- New GiFFT Certification Mark
GiFFT has released a new version of its certification mark. This mark is available in either a colored version or a black and white version.

-- Certification Completed
On the 23rd of April the sustainable skin care company Alaffia was certified by CertSystems International as compliant with the GiFFT standards.
